Last night was one of those “meant to be” moments. I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it to the Business Builders Networking event in Terrell. Why? Because I had E! Terrell written in my calendar—on the wrong date! 🤦♀️ I thought I had a scheduling conflict, but turns out, that the next E! Terrell concert is actually two weeks away. Crisis averted!
So with a little surprise free time, I headed out to the event—and I’m so glad I did.
The group was a bit smaller than usual, which actually made it even better. It felt more intimate, with great conversations and a few new faces in the mix. There’s something special about connecting with fellow entrepreneurs and business owners in a room full of positive energy and shared ambition. It’s a reminder that we’re all in this together—building, growing, and cheering each other on.
As an added bonus, I ended up winning a gift basket! 🎉 It included a bottle of Tequila, a book (yes, please!), and some delicious chocolate. Now, I have to admit—I’m allergic to alcohol, so the Tequila had to go. I re-gifted it back into the drawing so someone else could enjoy it, and honestly, that made it even more fun.
These little moments of connection and community fuel me. Whether you’re showing up to support others, share your business, or just be reminded that you’re not alone in the hustle—networking like this is so worth it.
