Last week brought a beautiful reminder of why relationships β both online and offline β matter deeply.
I opened an email from someone Iβve admired for years: Jennifer Johnston from the Trinity Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC). Weβve crossed paths many times over the years through LinkedIn and professional events, often cheering one another on from afar.
But this time, Jennifer reached out after seeing my latest updates on Wichmann & Co. β and asked how we might collaborate. The funny thing? I had already planned to invite her to speak at my upcoming Connect. Collaborate. Grow. event happening August 29th. She was on my list β I just hadnβt gotten that far yet!
So we set up a coffee chat at one of my favorite spots: Terrell Coffee Co., nestled in downtown Terrell. They had just launched their summer lemonades (thank you, social media!), so I tried the Blueberry Lemonade β and it was beyond delicious. Pair that with one of their ginormous cookies, and youβve got a recipe for a sweet brainstorming session.
Jennifer and I caught up, shared insights, and began to map out what a collaboration this fall could look like. It’s going to be bold, purposeful, and rooted in serving our entrepreneurial community.
If you’re a dreamer, a doer, or just someone who believes in the power of collaboration β I hope youβll join us on this exciting ride. The best is yet to come. π
See you at Connect. Collaborate. Grow.
