Yesterday marked the end of an era as I handed over the key to my storage unit. It’s hard to put into words how it felt walking away for the last time. The final two items—my old embroidery machines—were picked up to be scrapped. That part stung a little because I truly loved embroidery. But the bigger picture? It’s been a journey of growth, reflection, and accomplishment.
Back in May last year, I started this massive decluttering project. Over 400 international-sized moving boxes were consolidated into just 70 medium-sized ones.

I lost track of how many trash bags I filled along the way, but I know this: every bag, every box, and every hour was worth it. The payoff? I’m saving $300 a month—and that’s no small victory!
This journey wasn’t just about decluttering physical items. It was about letting go of things I no longer needed and making space for a fresh start. Huge thanks to everyone who helped—whether you showed up, cheered me on, or gave me that extra nudge when I needed it. Your support means everything.

And yes, I’m a little proud of myself. I hope my mom is smiling down from heaven, proud too. 💖
