Wow, what a whirlwind this week has been! 🌀 Between freezing temps and nonstop events, I’ve barely had time to catch my breath. Let’s hope the cold weather is finally behind us, because I’m ready for sunshine and warmer days! ☀️
The highlight of my week was definitely yesterday’s Wills Point Community Market. Most of the week was spent planning and promoting the event. I attended the Forney Area Networking Group on Tuesday and Terrell Chamber Morning Mingle on Wednesday to spread the word. And Wednesday night? What a treat—I was a guest on KFCE 95.5 radio! 🎙️ That interview was so much fun, and the cherry on top? It landed us a gold sponsorship for the market! How amazing is that?!
As for the market itself, I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out! 🎉 We had a fantastic turnout, and I’ve already received positive feedback from attendees and vendors. The space was a little tight, which is something I’ll improve on next time, but I’m so proud of how far this event has come. It even grew bigger than I expected! Now, it’s full steam ahead for the next market on February 15th—there’s no time to slow down! 🚀
Today, I tackled a personal project that’s been on my 2024 to-do list—clearing out my storage unit. Huge shoutout to the friends and acquaintances who helped me move everything to my garage (which is now officially packed to the brim). I’ll save $300 a month by closing that unit, so it’s a big win! 🙌 Just need to scrap two embroidery machines and I’ll officially be done.
Looking ahead, next week isn’t slowing down. The E! Terrell show is Thursday, rescheduled from earlier this month, and Saturday brings a Tea Tasting with Harlequin Tea at Whisked Away Bakehouse in Terrell. Plus, the February 15th market is right around the corner—no rest for the ambitious, right? But honestly, I love this pace. It keeps me inspired and motivated. 💪
Thanks for following along on this crazy journey. Let’s keep making big things happen! 🌟
