Harlequin Tea was invited to have a table outside Whisked Away Bakehouse today for The Moore Market today. I think it is so much fun that the small business community in Terrell is blooming and striving as it is. Lyric Art & Cafe also had a vendor event up the street so there were people strolling all over downtown!
I have learned how to use my quite limited space when I’m at a place like this. I think I got it to look pretty neat yesterday!
I had no idea of how busy it would be and it was to my surprise that I sold quite a lot! Much more than I actually expected! And it was so much fun to talk to people strolling by, supporting small businesses in town! It is so important, both for us and the community!
I have planned to be at Whisked Away next week as well but it is tentative. I work on Friday and if we don’t get any sleep, I may not have the strength to do it… And if the weather is nice, I may have to spend time in the storage instead as it is supposed to rain most of the days I’m off this next week.
