There are so many ways we can support each other that doesn’t cost a thing. Social media has become so important for any small business owner. I have decided that I am going to “campaign” a little and try to support as many other small businesses as I possibly can. Hopefully this can at some point become a movement… I have a couple of ideas in my head that I’m bouncing around. And we all know when that starts to happen, anything can come out of it.
So to start this, whatever it is, I posted this on my social media this morning…
And it is so true! It doesn’t cost anything to follow, like, comment, share, repost or refer them. It is so simple, just takes a second of your time when you’re anyway sitting and scrolling social media.
I asked people to comment with their links to their social media accounts so I can follow. It means a lot sometimes to have one or two more followers for the entire algorithm to change to the better. So please help your fellow small business owners out on this!
Today was the first day of Wills Point Farmers Market outside The Coffeshop 5th and O’Neal. I wasn’t there with Harlequin Tea as we are not considered Cottage Bakery and therefore not eligible to be there. Don’t ask because I don’t have any answers, just questions…
But my friend Mary with Mizell Farms was there so I stopped by on my way from the barn to see how things were going!
It was only four vendors but I hope this could be more later on. Mary had this Oreo Cinnamon Bun that whispered my name. It was “sunbaked” and perfect to eat right there. So delicious!
So go out and support your small business friends out there. There are so many events this weekend all over the place! It means the world to them!
