Gladewater, TX

It’s been some driving the last couple of days. I don’t really mind driving, I love seeing new places and houses. This morning the trip went to Gladewater, TX. I have actually never been to Gladewater. Can’t even recall driving through the town.

First… this was the house I showed:

3 Bedroom 1 bath with a big back yard. The house needs some small repairs and TLC. Located near a all amenities of the town and very close to the town’s baseball field.

Took me a minute to look at Gladewater. Well, not enough time, that’s for sure! This is a very historical town with their own museum. I didn’t even look to see if it was open. But if you love antiques, this is an absolute stop for you! It is the Antique Capital of East Texas! There is an antique store in each corner!

As you probably know, I have a passion for old, big, historical houses! So when i saw this beauty on my way to the showing, I realized I had to make sure I came by on my way back!

It makes me so happy to see a house like this being preserved and kept beautiful. And look at that picket fence on the top of the roof! What a view it must be from there!

This town seems to have more to offer than I knew. It is a really cute town with all the amenities you can need. I must say I like the town quite a lot, despite not being a fan of antiques 😂
