It’s a year ago since I had a booth at Forney Market last. It’s a great event, the dates has just ended up on days I was scheduled to work. So I was super excited when I saw that all three spring dates will work this year!
So yesterday morning I headed over there with my car full of stuff. This time with a thing added that I have wanted for so long time, a banner!
This is something I have wanted for over a year but for different reasons it just never happened. And when I updated the logo back in January I was super happy that I didn’t have a banner already so I could eventually make one with the new logo.
With two awesome events behind me last weekend and two big events coming I thought that now was the time! I contacted Anna at 5H-Custom in Grand Saline and asked how much it was and turnaround time. Asking if it was possible to get one for today, if not was it possible for Terrell Jubilee. She thought she could pull it off to this weekend if I sent her artwork right away. And boom, she made it all happen! I am so thankful and pleased with the outcome! It was absolutely PERFECT in the booth as well!
The weather was great except the wind. I always tie my canopy down with cinderblocks. They are a pain in the butt to bring along because they are big and heavy but days like this, it is worth the effort. Several canopies was caught by the wind and took off.
Sales was amazing. As a matter of fact, new event record! I sold out on all Mango Oolong bags I had brought! That has never happened before folks!!! I was beyond happy! It also gave me a good lead for Terrell Jubilee in two weeks. Trying to figure out how much to bring is always hard! But it is better to bring too much than too little in my opinion.
Next Downtown Forney Market is May 11th. I am already looking forward to it!
