Investment

I’m a very impatient person. I want everything to happen now, and if I have an idea, it needs to be happening now. I don’t like to have to wait for someone to do something for me. I know things takes time to make etc, yet I’m still a kid in that sense.

I have wanted to create a line of merchandise to Harlequin Tea for a long time. T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs etc. But I can’t really afford to have an entire wardrobe in stock as it’s not my main thing, more just for fun. I had some t-shirts on the website before that was drop shipping but the printing quality was not what I wanted so I took it down. Well now I made the new logo so now was the opportunity to make something happen in this matter.

So after some research and lots of thinking I decided to do an investment in a heat press. I have today ordered an HTV Ront Automatic Heat Press.

I am so excited, it should be here beginning of next week. There are several companies that prints your direct heat transfers (DHT) and I have tried to order my logos from Ninja Transfers. They have done a lot of ads on social media and was very reasonable priced so that’s who I tried first.

No, I am not aiming to start doing this as a business. But to make my own clothes with my logos on, both for real estate and the company. And also creat3 my own merchandise for Harlequin Tea first and foremost.

Step one is to learn how all this works. I have already spent a couple of hours on YouTube and it seems very easy. I once had an embroidery machine and business so it is not all completely strange for me.
I don’t think I will be able to get anything ready for Eclipse weekend but I hope to have a couple of T-shirts ready at Terrell Jubilee.

The next step, once I have learned how this flat press works, found a print company I’m happy with etc, is to buy a heat press for mugs. Hat will though take a while because of space in my house. I have to rearrange my office quite a bit to have enough workspace.

I see this as an investment in my company. To be able to provide merchandise expands the brand! Every time someone see the logo regardless of where they are, it is a reminder for them. And if either I give away a t-shirt or someone buys it, it will at some point lead to exposure of the logo. And that is what I need, Hopefully I can make a couple of dollars on each T-shirt as well and at some point this press will be paid off instead of paying more per t-shirt and have to have a higher price.
I am at least super excited about it!
