Women’s History Luncheon

The non profit organization Bridging The Gap of Van Zandt County put on their first annual Women’s History Luncheon at the Community Room in Wills Point today. I had seen posts on Facebook about it and figured I wanted to attend to see what this was all about. And wow, it did not disappoint!

Inspirational, empowering and bringing the women in the community all together. I met some new people and some whom I only recognized their faces but couldn’t place…
They had color coordinated everything in purple, black and gold. It was absolutely beautiful. Silent auction, raffle and all kinds of stuff! A thing they did was they had a card at each plate with something inspirational on. Where I was sitting was “Make someone smile”. Well then, we were going to write our names on the back of it and give it to someone else! What a beautiful idea! I absolutely loved it!

Great job to everyone who helped putting this event off! I had a great time and hope to be able to join future events as well!
